I was deep in the corporate world — long hours, back-to-back meetings, the kind of schedule that leaves little room for anything else — when I started planning my destination wedding.
It was everything I'd dreamed of. A small, intimate ceremony somewhere beautiful, surrounded by the people who mattered most. Except, of course, not everyone could make it. And the ones who could? Scattered across the room, across the country, across the world.
I wanted a guestbook. A real one — filled with voices and stories and the kind of messages you read again ten years later and still cry over. But a paper book passed around a table wasn't going to cut it. Half my guests wouldn't be there. The other half would scribble their name and a smiley face and hand it on.
So I went looking for something better. And I couldn't find it.
