Your subscription is billed monthly and gives you a set number of guestbooks to use across your team each billing period. You're charged on the same date each month, and you can see exactly what's included in your plan before you commit. There are no setup fees and no contracts — just a simple monthly charge that you can cancel at any time.

You can cancel at any time — there are no lock-in contracts. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period, and any guestbooks already created stay live until their individual storage periods expire. We'll never charge you after you cancel.

Any guestbooks created before your cancellation remain live and fully accessible until their individual storage periods end. Cancelling your subscription stops new guestbooks from being created — it doesn't delete or expire anything that's already running. Your team can still download all videos and messages from those pages right up until they expire.

Annual billing is available for corporate plans and typically comes with a discount compared to paying monthly. If you'd like to discuss an annual arrangement, get in touch with our team and we'll put together the right plan for your organisation's budget cycle.

Yes — for corporate and enterprise customers we can arrange invoice-based billing rather than automatic credit card charging. This makes it easy to process through your accounts payable team. Reach out to us directly and we'll set that up for you.

Yes — that's one of the key advantages of the corporate plan. You can have multiple guestbooks active simultaneously, each for a different person or event. Each guestbook is completely independent with its own page, password, guest link, and storage period. There's no limit on how many can run in parallel within your plan allowance.

Unused guestbooks within a billing period do not roll over — they reset each month with your subscription renewal. If you find you regularly need more than your plan allows, we can move you to a higher tier or arrange a custom volume plan. We'll always give you a heads-up before anything lapses.

Yes. Each guestbook has its own unique gallery link and owner password, which you can share with whoever is managing that particular event — an EA, HR coordinator, events team member, or the honoree's manager. There's no need for everyone to share a single login. Each person gets independent access to just their guestbook.

Absolutely. Each guestbook is set up individually with the honoree's name, event type, event date, and theme. You can choose from our Professional, Celebration, Tribute, and other collections depending on the occasion — a retirement looks different to a work anniversary, and both look different to a farewell. Every page is personalised from the moment it's created.

Yes. Every guestbook page is password-protected — guests need the link and a password to record, and the gallery is separately password-protected so only the designated host can view messages. Pages are not publicly listed or searchable. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and video files are stored on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. For specific security requirements, get in touch and we'll provide more detail.

Video and message data is stored on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure with global edge coverage. Our application runs on Vercel's cloud platform. For organisations with specific data residency requirements — government, healthcare, or enterprise — please contact us directly to discuss available options.

Currently, access to the guest recording page is controlled by a shared password — anyone with the link and password can record. This means you can restrict access by only sharing the link internally. We don't currently support SSO or domain-restricted access, but this is on our roadmap for enterprise customers. If this is a hard requirement, reach out and we can discuss.

Instantly. Once your plan is active, a new guestbook can be created and live within minutes — there's no lead time, no design work, and no waiting. For last-minute farewells or surprise occasions, this is one of The Social Aisle's biggest advantages over physical alternatives.
